Parts Room Associate

Day shift 6am – 2:30pm

$19/hr

A local facility is looking for a Parts Room Associate to manage the flow of parts and supplies for production and maintenance departments. If you're dependable and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and stock incoming parts and supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the company’s system
• Issue parts and materials to production and maintenance teams as needed
• Organize the parts room for easy access, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Monitor stock levels and communicate restock needs to supervisors
• Update part locations and data in the inventory management system
• Track and return unused or excess items to storage
• Assist in preparing large components for motor freight shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth part flow and production goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or parts room preferred
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable with reliable attendance and strong communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods
• Forklift certification or ability to be trained (preferred)
• Knowledge of mechanical or manufacturing parts (preferred)
• Experience in a manufacturing or maintenance support environment (preferred)
